St. John’s Wort is the light that shines down upon your spirit aiding you toward true freedom and providing a breath of fresh air that you so deeply desire. Her spirit is like a spring day on a Sunday afternoon strolling into your consciousness bringing forth a sensation of deep joy and clarity, guiding you toward your true light self.

During this workshop, you will learn the history, magical aspects, medicinal uses and the plant consciousness of St. John’s Wort. We will drink St. John’s Wort tea, in a ceremonial way and use the oil topically to experience both types of medicine. You may arrive with a question you would like to ask and through a Shamanic journey you will be guided to meet the Spirit of St. John’s Wort or as Susun Weed says “St. Joan’s Wort”. She will provide messages that you may want to receive with an open heart.St. John’s Wort is a plant that introduces joy, a stronger sense of self and creates the ability to dissipate the chatter in between your ears.

In plant consciousness work, each plant has gifts it wishes to share with you. The plants nudge us toward finding balance within the gifts that it offers. Other workshops exploring different plant medicines will follow within the Earth Medicine Journey.

*If you are taking any medications that may interact with St. John’s Wort. Please feel free to join as, you will have other opportunities to journey with the plant medicine.One does not have to ingest plant medicine in order to commune with it.

No Experience Needed

Please bring a small personal item with you to place on the altar, a yoga mat or blanket to lie on for the drum journey, as well as a bandana or eye mask to cover your eyes. Please arrive 15 minutes early.

LeAnne Feliciano (Little Big Thunder)

LeAnne Feliciano is a holistic and shamanic practitioner who has been working with plants since the age of 16, when she felt that the plants were speaking to her. Her curiosity grew from there, and 8 years ago, when she went on the Southeastern Wise Woman retreat, her understanding reached new levels. Within the 4 years Leanne has been undertaking a series of 40-day plant consciousness journeys with plants such as Rosehip, Cacao, Mugwort, Feverfew, St. John’s Wort and many more. She has studied under Pam Montgomery author of Plant Spirit Healing and Corinna Woods with S.E Wise Woman.

She has learned that the plants wish to be acknowledged and to be communicated with as they were in the old ways, by recognizing their medicinal purposes and their sacred value. Her passion is to share with others the magic of working with the consciousness of plants, as well as to encourage others to form their own personal relationships with them.

Leanne is also a qualified Clinical and Master Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, Otter Dance Earth Medicine Practitioner in the Shamanic arts, Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner, Peer Support Specialist and Recovery Coach.
